Hello!

It's been a long time! Hope all has been well with all.

Been too busy with work after Osaka - Reports to write, presntations to give and seminars to attend. There are certainly no free lunches in the world - the company flies you on first class to the sunny city with the beautiful ocean and you come back to slog like a bull.

I am not one to complain at length so here's a fun quiz to try out!

Your Seduction Style: Prized Object

The seduction game you play is tried, true, and still effective: hard to get.

You know that the best seducers turn the tables - and get their crush to seduce them.

The one running has the power, and you're a challenge that is worth the chase.

You are a master of enticing and pulling back. Giving a little and taking some away.

You are controlled enough to know rewards come after a long seduction dance.

Even though you want to call, email, or say "I love you" first - you don't!

You're style is the perfect mix of hot and cold - so much so that you have many suitors.

Think Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's ... or any of those creepy guys from the Bachelor.

You're skilled at inspiring a chase. The real test is picking the person to slow down for.

What's on this week?

Last week was a blast! The National Day celebrations and holiday were breaths of fresh air to perk myself up for the rest of the week. Somehow, the week seemed more manageable with a holiday in mid-week.

Sadly, we are back to full 5-day week this week. With deadlines looming and work piling up, I know it aint going to be fun. Like today, I ate in cos I have to run this program that takes 1 hour 16min 23sec to complete one run. I have to be ard to monitor if any error msgs pops out. I certainly do not have the luxury of time to let it run, go out for lunch and come back to see that the program has hung.

So I am typing this while munching on my turkey ham and honey dijion sandwich and waiting *in anticipation* for the program to hang. :/

What do I have to look forward to this week?
  • Dinner + drinks, the usual routine after work with friends for tonight and Thursday night. Yah.. the activity itself doesnt sound fun but the company is. :)
  • Dinner with BF at the Fullerton on Fri
  • Sat would be spent running errands, planning my trip, packing
  • Sun -- Off to Osaka!!! :)

Cant wait! :D

Business Trips

Just received news that I will be going on a business trip to Osaka end of this month!!!

WOO HOO!!!

Cant wait to go to the Land of Rising Sun on a full-board, 5-star basis. Am sure it will be a smashingly luxurious experience! :D

My friends are also flying around the globe for business trips these few months.

Wool is in Germany now , touring with her musical as the stage manager.

Corduroy is flying off to France for the Cannes festival in October!

Linen is diving in Malapascua to see the Thresher sharks. ^#$! Bit*ch *Grumble*

Velvet is touring China in the current heat wave, that crazy woman.

And Lace was back in SG for a wild weekend with us. Oh! That goon was gone for too long. She was chatted up by a hot national runner (hint: Sprinter, Record-holder) that night without even realising it!! Muahahaha

Planning Ahead

Friend: The choreographer's comin back next month! Woohoo! I cant wait!!!! :D

Me: Haha.. good for you babe! It has been a long seperation.

Yah man.. oh yes! Do you know how I can delay or bring forward my period?

Heh *wink wink* Pent-up desires I see... :)

Yah la! We are planning to stay at the hotel the night he reaches.

Hahahaha... Scared the walls in your house too thin huh?

Heh.. dowan my parents to walk into us.

Cant imagine how explosive it will be! Mine was super when we separated for 3 weeks. We went 3 rounds non-stop!!! And a total of 5 times the whole day. If the level of explosiveness is directly proportional to the days of seperation, I think there might be a mini earthquake at the hotel!!! Tremors!!! Shake!!!! hahahaha

*Blush* Yes. It was something like that the last time round. BTW, i expect to be bloody mary on the day he touches down leh. How?

Take the pill lor.

But the pill makes me feel bloated and moody. Any alternatives?

Erm.. not that I know of. But you can take it to make it come faster so it'll come before he arrives and you can stop taking the pill. Then you wun feel moody and bloated when he's here.

Good idea! The fun wun be spoilt then!:)

Arranging a time to meet

Lace is flying into town from BKK for a three day conference and arranged with the Singapore girls to go partying over the weekend.

Corduroy sent an email asking
"What time are we meeting?"

Linen, who is working in HK, replied cheekily,
"I'll reach ard 1130pm, cos I will be playing basketball in the courts at Hollywood Road at 8pm."

Corduroy then replied,
"How about meeting you at Armani bar (in HK) at 1am instead?"

Denim (who is in NYC) wrote,
"Eh, why not party at Ciele? Say meet at 12am?"

Velvet (Tokyo) added,
" I vote for Warehouse! We'll go karaokaying before clubbing till 7am!!!"

The plans all sound GRRRREAT!!!

The thing about meeting them is, I wonder which time zone we are talking about.

Tip to stay awake and alert at work

Feeling tired and listness cos the weekend is still faraway?
Trying to stay awake but wants to control your addiction to caffaine?
Wanna feel entertained but surfing blogs and what-not on the work computer is not perking you up and providing you with sufficient entertainment?

Try --
Sending naughty smses to keep the juices flowing! :)

Result --
Hyper brains + sparkling eyes + radiant faces + (slutty) smiles = Positive employees = Happy bosses.
Promotions in lieu! :D

No. of promotions will depend on the no. of parties you are sending naughty smses to based on personal preference: Twosome, threesome or mass orgy. :P

Love yourself, Keep your pride.

Last night when I was walking home, I saw a dejected frame of a young girl in front of me. I took a double take (Yes lah, I was KPO). The girl was exuding such negative vibes that I can feel it even when I was 10m from her. From the back, she looks really sad -- slouched shoulders, bowed head, dragging her feet as she walked.

I felt really sad for her as I watched her walk away. Suddenly, my heart froze as my brain registered --

"It's her!"

Upon realisation, I wanted to go up to her to ask her why is she here, but I stopped myself from running after her, for fear of embarassing her. I was afraid that if she was crying, facing her would be extremely awkward.

She, is my brother's ex-gf. I believe they broke up way before the World Cup started. I had guessed of their break-up when she called my house several times when my family was watching WC matches asking for my bro, but he was not at home. She made such calls frequently (at 15 min intervals). I guessed it was either my bro is not picking up her calls or she wanted to 'spot-check' on my bro to see if he was at home.

Initially, I was frustrated with her persistent calling. Nobody likes to be disturbed when watching soccer matches. Added the fact that my maid was asleep even before the earliest match begun at 11pm, I am always the one answering the phone cos I am the youngest.

*grumble-mumble*

So you would expect that after a few times of answering her calls within ONE match, I started to show my impatience. From the courteous "Nope, He's not in. Please call back later." to the curt "Not in" to the impatient "Not in LAH!"... Until my elder bro who was annoyed with the phone's ringing, went to answer the call and told her not to call anymore.

But she did not stop.

Anyway to cut the story short. My annoyance changed to sympathy last night.

It was past 12 midnight. She was still loitering around my house?! She does not live near us. How is she going home? Plus taxi fares just increased! Poor thing...

When I reached home, I wanted to tell my bro abt my 'sighting' but alas! my bro wasnt even home! So was she waiting to see my bro's car turn into the driveway??!

Then I felt really guilty. Sometime back, my mom was gloating to me about my bro's break-up cos she did not like the girl. Felt that she has no manners and too 'xiao-jie-qi'. I did not like her too, cos I thought I am rather diva-like already, but she is worst! Eg, it is basic GF etiquette to give your BF 'face' in front of others. No matter that you actually wear the pants, you have to lend the guy the pants when you are with others. At least dun act like a brat lah! But she, wah.. throws her temper outrightly. Even when she was out in the restaurant having dinner with my mom for the FIRST time!

So I am rather surprised that she will become a 'stalker' after break-up.

Very sad.

I was affected for the whole night. I felt really sorry for her. Maybe I feel for her cos I am a girl myself... No matter how badly you do not want the relationship to end, I think it is important to love yourself. No guy is worth getting so dejected over. Definitely not my brother!
